This page will explain how the lottery system is going to work.
To win, the digits on your ticket must match the drawn numbers in the exact order.
Here’s an example of a lottery draw with two tickets, A and B:
Ticket A: The first three digits and the last two digits match, but the fourth digit is incorrect. This ticket qualifies only for the "Match First 3" prize.
Ticket B: Although the last five digits match, the first digit is incorrect. This ticket does not win a prize.
Note that prize brackets do not stack. For example, if you match the first three digits in order, you will only win the prize for the "Match First 3" bracket, not for "Match 1" or "Match 2".
The GEN used to purchase the lottery tickets will be consumed in 2 ways.
A major portion of the GEN will go towards funding the prize pot.
The other portion of the GEN will be burnt, which will introduce Genesis' first deflationary mechanism.
The unclaimed GEN will rollover to the next round.
